THE PROCESS - Simplifying the Complicated

FULL ESTATE
  Offsite
Full estate liquidations are handled off-site at the client’s location, allowing for a comprehensive and seamless process where the items are.

1.  Initial Meeting & Booking

  • We’ll meet with you to assess your needs and schedule your auction.

  • Personal items not intended for sale should be removed prior to setup.

2.  Lotting & Photography

  • Auction Studios arrives as scheduled to begin cataloging items.

  • Lotting and photography can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on project size.

  • Auction Studios does not remove unsellable or unwanted items.  However, we can coordinate cleanup or removal services through trusted outside vendors if needed (additional fees apply).

3.  Data Entry & Auction Setup

  • Behind-the-scenes data entry follows once photography and lotting are complete.

  • This step also takes several days to a couple of weeks, depending on scope.

4.  Preview & Approval

  • Before going live, you’ll receive a full preview of your auction to review and approve.

5.  Live Auction

  • Your auction is typically live online for two weeks.

  • Duration may vary depending on specific needs or circumstances.

6.  Inspection Period

  • One to two days before closing, bidders are invited to a scheduled on-site inspection (usually 1–2 hours).

  • Our staff will be present to answer questions and assist as needed.

7.  Auction Close

  • The auction ends and winning bidders are notified.

8.  Item Removal

  • One to two days post-auction, removal takes place:

    • Smaller items are brought to the point of contact (front door, garage, etc.).

    • Interior access is limited to the removal of large items or when professional movers are hired.

9.  Final Cleanup & Unsold Items

  • Our team tidies up and consolidates any unsold items unless removal has been prearranged.

10.  Settlement

  • You’ll receive an itemized report and your proceeds check—typically mailed within two weeks of auction close.

THINGS TO NOTE

  • Most bidding activity happens in the final hour of the auction. Don’t be surprised if items receive their first bid right as the auction begins to close.

  • Photography Makes a Difference Studies show you have just 3 seconds to catch someone’s attention online. Clear, compelling photos can make all the difference. Choose a company that understands the power of visual impact.

  • Honest & Transparent Listings - Great auction descriptions highlight flaws as well as features. Look for a company that tells the whole story—not just the shiny parts.

  • Licensed, Bonded & Insured We’re fully credentialed to provide secure, professional auction services you can trust.
